I was 15 when the Beatles conquered the world. I saw their first American concert from the fourth row!!!!!!!!
I was a TRUE....Beatlemaniac. I still am.
This is a clip of what I saw. It has been GREATLY enhanced. We heard NOTHING, do mainly to the fact I NEVER SHUT MY SCREAMING MOUTH!!!!!!
The Beatles could not hear themselves, they later told reporters. The crowd was 8,500...The biggest they had had at that time in their career.
By the way, when you see the part where John stomps his feet and claps lke a seal..... Picture good ol' Sunshine at the young age of 15, going airborne and shreiking like a banchee:

I was born in 1953 so I guess I got in on about all of those gens. Maynard G. Crebbs as the beatnik, then onto rockabilly into the surfer music etc. I always like music from about 1955 to 1969 the best and not so much the latter music as the former.

first a juvenile delinquent and rock 'n roller - 50's
then a beatnik - very early 60s (Greenwich Village NY)
then part of the brief folk movement (Kingston Trio, Odetta, Dylan)
which for me, slipped into hippie-dom.(my fav)
a touch of go-go (late 70s)
a sliver of disco (most of the 80s)
now, just the blues.
So, to answer your question, all but a cube.

I was borderline beat. Major Motown. Invaded by the Brits. Captured by the Grateful Dead.

Would Sonny & Cher be the beat generation.
I use to love that couple and their crazy clothes when they first started out.
