Two notable bleached sex icons of twentieth-century America, who started causing an unrealistic, more or less scandalous and otherwise negative image of real blond hair, were Jean Harlow and Marilyn Monroe. I think some blond actress a long time ago created the persona of the dumb blond, most likely Marilyn Monroe. I think this character was created to fulfill some men's fantasies of a dumb, but beautiful woman, who they could have their way with and since she was stupid, she wouldn't complain about anything or demand anything.

Has anyone actually looked it up or tried to read about it? Nobody seems to have any valid answer, but when I did a search this is what it said:
"Also called pigment, melanin is a substance that gives the skin and hair its natural color. It also gives color to the iris of the eye, feathers, and scales. In humans, those with darker skin have higher amounts of melanin. By contrast, those with less pigment have lighter or more fair skin coloring"

when blondes started to prove that blondes are indeed, dumb...everyone of the blondes i have met and known all ended up being ditzy and stupid...talking like this : "Like, omg, like no way, like did you see my new cell phone? like omg"....and sweetie, the only reasons blondes are liked more by the piggish males is because they're easier and sluttier...
