You'll have to write each individual company to cease and desist all further mail . The post office won't do it no matter what they promise . They make money off junk mail . I was given a list of various places to contact . I was told ONE of the contacts was all it takes to stop junk mail ; and to wait 4-5 months .I wrote to each and everyone on the list : just to be sure . That was about three or four years ago . I'm still waiting - but I stopped holding my breath . I get so much junk mail that it's hard to find the real stuff in all that mess .

Write "Refused -- return to sender" on the front of it, and put it in your mailbox. The Post Office will return it.

And feel free to sign up for the lists mentioned by others. It all should help.

Try return to sender, you can also go to your local post office and get on a bulk mail denial list, at least i think that's what they call it. Good Luck!

If it comes with a postage paid reply envelope, stick a note in it and tell them to stop sending it to you. This is what I do and you would be surprised how fast they stop sending you junk.

Try going to your local Post Office. I believe there is a form you fill out.
