According to one of the greatest rock bands ever it's was:
Dazzed and Confused: Led Zeppelin:
"Lots of people talk and few of them know,
soul of a woman was created below."
Personally I believe that the song "Thank You" disproves the creation below theme.

My stance, the soul is eternal and certainly didn't come from below. But I'm not REALLY trying to be serious, I just have Led Zepplin on the brain tonight and can't shake it. The woman I love most definetly is a heavenly angel sent to be my soulmate. I don't know how one man could be so blessed, but I am truely blessed. And most of the women on Y!A seem very sweet spirited.
Did I dig myself out of a whole with you ladies? Am I out of the dog house? If yes please give me a star. j/k

Most women are little children, always wanting to get their way. Women can have sex as much as they want in their lifetime but this is not the case with men. When men refuse sex, women play the double-standard and get upset but when they (women) refuse sex, the men are supposed to understand. This is what Led Zeppelin meant when Robert Plant sang, "the soul of a woman was created below".

I just listened to that. Off my Led Zeppelin album, the first one. Must be a blues writing.

I agree with you! If you have someone who worships the ground you walk on and you do the same for her, then you have it made! Men and women complement each other. Not all women are evil.

zepplin is my favorite group of all time...
i think that it was just a metaphore (plus it sounded really good!).
and as you point out "thank you" shows how they really felt.

All souls were created above. It's just some lyrics thought up by a hair band and they thought the words were cool! Lack of respect for the female gender reason for lyrics...and lack of respect for ones self ie; female gender.
Just an observation and opinion.
Whoops!......False
