No, I'm not easily bored. In fact, never bored. If I am restricted in what I am doing, say, waiting in a queue, waiting for someone to visit or in social situations when other people keep us waiting, then I might be 'frustrated' and that's because I've got so many other things to do and I want to get on!
When we are young, advice from adults can have a big influence on the rest of our lives and your question, in fact the word 'boredom' always takes me back to my days in Sunday School, when my Sunday School teacher told me how God has created this beautiful world and it was a lack of respect to God, to ever feel bored. (No doubt we were complaining of being bored at the time!) Ever since her words have stuck with me. My life is so full and always has been so. If it wasn't I would go out and make it that way: there are plenty good Causes and people who might need a little help and support. I just couldn't waste time being bored. - Good question.

Not often but it does happen now and then. I think it happens to everybody at one time or another. I've heard busy people say "I have too much to do I would love to be bored", but yet when they slow down they can't wait to get busy again! And people who are bored aren't trying...there is always something to be done or that needs to be done. It's whether you have discipline enough to do the tedious things.....the things you put off or don't want to do. It's not always about having fun. An old saying goes..."If you're bored dig a hole....you'll soon forget all about being bored". lol! And Thank You and You have a wonderful day/night!

No, don't think so. Though I may be. Don't don't know. I think I can usually find something to amuse me. But then? Does that mean I am easily bored. Dunno. Don't think so. But I may be. It might just mean that I like to try different things. Might do. But it may also just mean that I have a low attention threshold. Or it may mean that I have a low boredom threshold. Or it may just mean that I have drunk far too much coffee during the night. Now if you are talking about coffee, then no I am never easily bored by coffee. Coffee is extremely interesting and very necessary to me. I got some really good coffee yesterday at the supermarket. It is called gunpowder or something similar. Great coffee. Now that coffee really is interesting. It is higher in caffeine than usual. Maybe not a good idea, but definitely not boring.

Yes, agreed. And people that get bored easily tend to complain about being bored, which is a total downer.

No not right away by the end of the week I start getting crazy haha I mean bored out of my mind ....I think too because I am tired from work :)))I try to keep busy I read a lot write alot, talk to many people friends family alike..have my little doggie ...exercise and take care of me...so I keep busy enough the key is you have to have a balance.....feel good things around so you will not do things that can harm you because you are bored with Life :)))

It depends on what I am doing. If I am on Y!A, I am not usually bored! Yet, I get bored with doing the same chores day in and day out around the house. I am certainly not bored by my life; I love being a stay at home mommy! Yet, it can get a little mundane that is why I am always visiting friends and relatives!!!

It depends, In my home, never am I bored. I am contented, and can be busy or enjoy myself at any number of things.
Waiting does not bore me. Where ever I am, I have something in my purse to busy myself with, if nothing but a paper & pen or a Readers Digest.
What does bore me, is endless conversation, in detail, about things or people that I don't even know or need to hear about. That bores me to death. I have butted in on conversation, more than once to say," I really don't need to hear this."
Monotone speakers of any kind, fail to hold my interest and that is very boring to sit through as well.

Yes! I get bored way to easily. I get bored if I do the same thing for longer than like 30 minutes, haha. I'm bored right now....

Never... When I was younger and I had no kids "yes"
but since I have kids I have always something to do.
I feel like there is never enough time in the day to get things done...
Also, you're here Moon... so I can never have a chance to be or even get bored... Hope you have a nice evening... :)

No. The opposite. There's too much to see and do, too much to think about, or daydream over. But I do get exhausted easily, damn it! The First Mate says that's because I did too much in the past. But I think that's why I never get bored, even when I can't do all the fun things I can think of to do.
