Friend and I, when I was younger, used to try, never had anything happen, but there has always been a very strong gut feeling telling me NOT to mess with those things. First time I tried was the only time.

My experiences have been both scary and interesting. You must treat the board with respect and understand that talking boards have power and that it's not something to be played with lightly. It's not really a game. I have had LONG conversations with spirits, and even dreamed of them later on. I've had short conversations with spirits who have said hello to a person in the room and then left. When that happened they used a nickname that only that person knew and then left. It was a comfort to the person. Some people think the whole thing is a hoax, but talking boards have been around for a very very long time. It was not invented by parker-brothers.

In all the years I've played with the young'uns on a Ouija board I've had only one incident. A Christian couple insisted on "trying" the board with me. To make a long story short...the woman ended up in hysterics and the man wanted to fight me.........The planchette moved through the letters until the word "whore" was spelled. I wasn't even near them or the board as I had gone to the kitchen for a beer.

at my friends house. We were talking to the ghost, like it was all fun, asking fun questions and stuff (we were 11). We were asking like "who are we going to marry" "will i become a dentist" stuff like that. But then.....I had to go home. So I was like "I have to go now, I'm so sorry, I'll come back another day to talk to you." Then the thing went to "no". Then I said "I'll come back." Still..."no". Omfg it was scary. Then I said "Bye" Then the thingy went off the board. We put it back on....back off the board. Again and again. We were freaking out...we threw the board over then RAN AS FAST AS WE COULD OUTSIDE. I've used it since but it hasn't worked as well.

Very positive, nothing negative, no horror stories. But then, I always approached it with respect, not in a 'game' or playful manner. It can be like Tarot or the Runes, allowing you to access greater wisdom, when approached with sincerity.
