I spend so much time in LV anyway, we thought about moving there, this is what we found.

Nice studio apt near the strip & UNLV
Oasis Place Apartments $550
Sierra Vista & Paradise

We really like these - They were in South LV, nice area, very convenient to I-15
Villanova Apartments $584 for a 1br, 725 sq ft
2815 W Ford Ave
1-866-398-5250 ext-7092

It does really depend on what type of field you are in. People say that Vegas is at it's worst with jobs, but so is everywhere else. I've been to a couple larger cities in teh past year, looking for work, and the only place that has given me work is Vegas, so I can't say that there is nothing here. There is always new work showing up, so if you have a good work history, you'd be in pretty good shape. It is exp. to live in a nicer part of town, so make sure you keep that in mind when it comes to housing as well. I myself love this city, and if you are good with managing your money, there is nothing that says you couldn't make it here.

depends on what part of town you plan on living in. there are some cheap places to live, but they're not the nicest or safest. if you want to live somewhere descent, then plan on paying around $900.
