Actually there are a couple of third parties out there. (several if you include the loony tunes) The Libertarian and the Constitution Parties are two of the better ones. The problem is that no one from either of them stands much of a Chance of being elected to a National Office..... It's a Catch 22 situation... you need credibility to get elected.... you don't have any credibility because you haven't been elected.... *Ron Paul is actually a Libertarian.... but he runs as a Republican to get elected.

I think we are on the threshold of a great change in our country.

We have 20 percent of the population that support the government and 80 percent don't. So, the government is pandering to the 20 percent.
This is not democracy. The whitehouse occupants are not representing the majority of it's citizens and congress is, congress. Big paychecks and do nothing.

Most of us are pretty sick of what's been going on in this nation and I think it's about to come to a head.

The over-privleged have had control for too long and just like the Roman Empire, it's about to fall.

Many individuals who favor "third-parties" contribute.

The third-parties themselves are largely shut out by the two dominant parties. That's the only thing Republicans and Democrats seem to agree on -- keeping the political field just to the two of them and shutting everyone else out.

Er... to narrow this down, the internet being global and all, do you have any particular country in mind? Otherwise we could be here all day...
