I've been been taking ortho tricyclen lo for 2 years and noticed a VERY big decline in my sex drive. Im going to switch over to desogen (sp). Should I take extra precaution while having sex, or will it just be as effective. Also, if anybody is on Desogen, did you experience any weight gain because I would like to be on somethign that puts some weight on me !

You will probably need to use a backup method for a short time when making the change from one brand to another because changing can alter the cycle some. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well.
As for Desogen I've taken it before and loved it for helping periods and yes it could possibly make you gain weight but that weight is mostly water.
