Welfare Reform:
Parents can only be on cash assistance for a maximum of 5 years beginning 12/96. In some States, the 5 year limit applies to the entire family based on Federal Law.
There is no such limit for Corporations on corporate welfare.
Corporate money paid for passage of Welfare Reform. Taxpayers' money pays for corporate welfare.
Therefore, taxpayers were forced to pay for the passage of Welfare Reform.
That is treason, punishable by death.

Depends on what you are talking about.... usually "Corporate Welfare" is a "Quid pro quo" situation.... like a city will get jobs for giving a tax break.... in social welfare you get nothing... What would be better is to get rid of the IRS which allows for so much of those tax "incentives".... support the "Fair Tax" (consumption tax) and all tax write offs for Corporations, the "wealthy" et al will go away... level the playing field.

I am completely against social welfare. I don't work my tail off to support someone else that are just as abled to work as I am. This so called corporate welfare that you talk about is a farse. Without these big corporations, where would the jobs come from. What would you do if they all took their companies out of the country? That is all ready happening. You Libs. keep trying to get deeper into their pockets, and they keep on moving out of the country. Be a thinker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem is our so called leadership tries to pacify the population that decided to lay back and live off others instead of taking the money from corporations and putting it to use to rebuild this country. Social welfare programs only breed a class of people that feel the world owes them. Everyone needs to work and earn their way to gain self respect. Putting corporations in positions where they can reduce their tax burden is just as wrong as using the money to support lazy people. It is that simple.

Nope, I don't.
Anything that helps Corporations and Employers, also Helps Us Working People.
Anyone that's ever hunted, or really needed a job, understands.
If you've never wanted, or needed a job, you are probably against "corporate welfare".

Of course they do not. They even revile honest, hard working people that earn minimum wage. They are like surfs in that they feel good when their noble is far more prosperous than the surfs.
To them CEOs deserve all that money can buy. However, minimum wage earners should never even be considered as to having value let alone share in the fruits of their labors.
As for those on welfare, forget about it. They actually think that simply ending welfare would solve the problems of America. Lets not forget that with the same breath, they claim to be Christians living in a Judeo-Christian society.

Corporate welfare has become a huge burden on our system, but it comes in many guises. Privatization is the biggest. I say let the corporations fend for themselves we have to.
I think we do need to help people when they need it.

No, corporate welfare is NOT usually "quid pro quo." It is subsidies, tax breaks, and giveaways with nothing in return, pure and simple.

If by corporate welfare you mean eliminating the double taxation on corporations... yes
If you mean pork barrel spending in certain congressional districts to keep failing companies afloat... no
Chi Guy - you've really got to get educated before you write in! (E.G. its spelled "serfs") Conservatives believe in accountability for all. That doesn't make us Prince John and all liberals Robin Hood.
