On one side it has this in the middle N$2 and 1994
The other side has a picture of what looks like a dragon with wings. The center of each side of this coin is gold in color, the outside edge is silver.
On the edge with the dragon it says ESTADOSUNIDOS MEXICANOS
On the other edge are various symbols that look like little pictures of animals.
I'm going to take a wild guess that it's worth $2.00 but don't know for sure. How much is it worth here in the US if anything?
Thanks in advance

You have KM# 551 a 2 new Peso from Mexico. The dragon you see is actually an eagle with a snake in its mouth. It is the National symbol of that country. An Aztec priest foretold that when they saw an eagle on a cactus with a snake in it's beak that they should build a city there, so they did. Today that city is called Mexico City. The last time I checked it took 10.84 Pesos to make a U.S. $1. So your value is way off. It is too new to be a collectors item.

First of all it is not a Dragon but an eagle with a snake in its mouth which is the national symbol of Mexico. In the 1300's an Aztec priest told his people when they see an eagle with a snake in its month on a cactus to build a city there, today that city is called Mexico City. The first coin is .720 silver and has.5209 actual silver content., in grades very fine and lower it is worth silver value. On number 2 there are more than one so you need to give denomination. The 10 peso 1978 is made of copper nickel and can be found in dealers World coin boxes for .25 or so. The 1980 Onza is a medallic silver bullion coin and in circulated grades is worth silver value only in mint state it sells for $18-20. Hope this helps.

20 cents, the value depends on how much the points rise or fall, it usually goes from 17 cents to 20 cents.
It's not a dragon, its an eagle eating a snake on a cactus, by the way.

for the person down there: the eagle represents the sun (which is supposedy the center of the universe), the snake represents the moon, and the cactus represents humanity.

I'm not a coin expert, but if it is a 2Peso coin, its worth about 18 cents here in the USA

That's two Mexican pesos---well less than a dollar. Check currency conversion tables.

That coin is nickel-brass on the outside, copper-nickel (I think) on the inside.
