Yes -- that is not only a blatant violation of the canons of judicial ethics in practice -- but it creates the appearance of judicial bias, which is itself sufficient for sanctions.

I'm not sure the judge should be disbarred as that is not my call to make but at the very least the judge in question should be brought up, before the Bar Association in the state he practices in, on Ethics charges.
While everyone was in the courtroom, I am going to assume that present were a representative from the SAO and one from the PDO (at the bare minimum at least one rep' from each of those places). What I can't comprehend is why one of those attorneys did not speak up immediately and object to what you are saying took place.
What county and state did this take place in? Who was the judge? And when did this happen - do you recall the specific date and time?

I do not believe you. Cite the court, date, and name of the judge.
I can assure you that most lawyers that practice any kind of courtroom law want to be judges, and would be more than happy to drop a dime on a judge that did this, and open up another vacancy they might fill. The judge wouldn't last until sundown, if they did this with a single lawyer in the room.
Judges are on salary, and if he didn't have time for everyone, they could just come back the next day, too bad.

Absolutely. That judge violated every rule of ethics that judges must have to sit on the bench. He should be reported to not only the state bar, but also to the State Department of Justice!

Either the judge has proof that all of you are guilty, and there's nothing that you can do about it. or he dont, and then you might have a leagal leg to stand on. did you have a lawyer and if so, if he could'ent do anything for you, then there's nothing that you can do but pay the fine. it would cost you more to fight it than it's probably worth. the fine would be cheaper than trying to fight it. hope this help's.
