which side is the gas pedal on in european cars. Is it on the right like american cars or is also opposite.

Pedals are the same in all makes, most of Europe drives on the same side of the road as Americans, with the exception of the UK (England etc.) and Ireland. But even there, the pedals are in the same order, whichever side the steering wheel is.

the pedals are all the same, just the steering wheel is opposite. ALSO first gear is still left and forward.

Pedals stay the same. Just the whole driver's setup is moved to the right.

The controls are exactly the same -- gas on the right, clutch on the left, brake and shifter in the center.

Its on the right hand side, same as the drivers wheel!!
