Masturbation is a very normal and common thing that millions of people of all ages do, virgins included.
Until you have actual intercourse you are a virgin; and as for abstaining from sex, my personal opinion is that masturbation is not sex unless it is being done mutually with a partner, then I'm afraid it would qualify as a sexual act.

No it does not count as losing your virginity, and yes you are still abstaining from sex if you are masturbating.

it sort of depends on what you mean. if you are asking because of religious values, you should look up your church's doctrine on sex and sexual acts. physically, you are a virgin until you have intercourse.
