I have never heard of that poem but it made me cry and think of my little boy who I lost in 2004.
I miss him so much and these bought tears to my eyes. Please let me know when you find out who the author is.

my god.thats so sad.reminds me of losin my son aged 6 weeks almost 3 years ago and my miscariage 9weeks ago.that poem is really beautiful though.go to lit.org:never say gone.

Wow! It tore my heart up and reminded me how I felt when my daughter died. But I was fortunate, she did say goodbye, and so do I.
