If I were not here in the Silican Valley, why should I bother about this place counting its merits?

We are 11 miles from the court house in Houston, Texas.
We are 2 miles from the inner loop 610 & I-10 W.
We are 5 miles from Our second home, Our Church.
We live 5 houses from a middle school.
We live 2 blocks from elementry
We are convienant to two large malls.
We have a great medical & cancer center in Houston.
The Gulf of Mexico & its beaches are 50 miles, in Galveston.

Sure aint the hot weather.. But the crime is low. Nice folks. Course its voting time here coming Tuesday so the candidaters are kissing everyone's rear ( as usual) I live here cause this is where I have lived 'bout all my life. Good schools are a plus , we are small( i hate big cities).

The Mountains.
They're about a 15 minute drive on either side of the town I live in, It's so beautiful!

The beach.... I wanted to live here in this town since I was a freshman in high school and I have been here for several years now. You can't beat it, life is like the tide; high, low and ever changing the shoreline.

miles of beach, the outstanding natural beauty of the rolling hills and distant mountains low crime rate, safe and memorable place for children to play and grow, dispite the finantial gap between the rich and poor they blend happily with out obvious class issues. real ales quaint villages. the list is endless!

I'm near a great, major city. Cities have many more interesting activities than the suburbs.

There are many homes that were built in the 1800's, they are all victorian styled and very beautiful with many orchards and hills surrounding them.
