Being unfaithful is certainly up there at the top. Many times, it is because the couple get bored with one another. We go through different stages in marriage. The beginning is excitement, then it levels off into deeper feelings, however, some want that excitement to continue and it doesn't, therefore think they've stopped loving their mate and start thinking something is wrong, and then it is down hill from there and end up divorced.

Cheating is a common one. But, let's go deeper. What causes people to cheat?
I think it is immorality that is the main cause for divorce. People with no morals make choices with selfish motives. They will choose whatever gratifies their own self-centered desires. They don't keep their word, and don't honor their promises. . . . . like the one they made when they took their marriage vows.
It's the struggle between good and evil.

Cheating is high on the scorelist. But the most common reason is the fact that a man and a womanget married while they are not ready for that commitment. In short they should have never gotten married at all.

Adultery is the leading cause for divorce, but can also be disguised as irreconciable differences too for thoseafraid to admit the real cause

Yes, cheating seems to be the main reason.
That & over time people just grow apart, & there's nothing you can do about it.
There are alot of reasons, but in the end the main one is just there's no more love.....either it faided over time or they just realized they never really did love them...

It is when the other decides you are no longer a spark in life. They move on to cheating and lying. I know was married 23 yrs when I found out she was cheating on me. What hurt the most is the lying to my daughters. She still does.
