Yes we do create our own reality I truly believe in the Laws of attraction with Allowing....our thoughts are extremely powerful and with the thoughts we set off positive and negative vibrations that bring into our lives exactly what we are dominantly thinking about...We have to be open and we have to have positive ideas to want to create the positive beautiful life that we want we can all have this if we focus our thought processes and meditation for positive affirmation it works...I am creating my life as we speak with all my positive vibrations thoughts :)))) good luck :)))

When you are the one creating the reality, all is well. Its when someone else has a reality that conflicts with yours that the trouble starts.

I've always wondered do we define our own realities or do they define us?
To a certain extent our world is what we make it. But on the other hand there are certain truths we can't ignore even if we want to.
I don't think this question can be answered with a simple yes or no.

I really believe that everyone's reality is different. It's all about perception. If we all had the same reality there would never be anything to discuss! How boring that would be.

No. We try, and we can create our own sphere of comfort in our dealings with the world, But the sun, the moon and many other things in life remain constant, and as real or unreal as YOU may perceive them to be, would have no actual effect on how real they are.

Absolutely - we choose to acknowledge and ignore parts of reality regularly. Mostly out of self preservation, I think.

Indeed we do; Magical One; indeed we do:
A self-fulfilling prophecy is a prediction that, in being made, actually causes itself to become true; in this it is distinguished from other prophecies. Although examples of prophecies that set in motion the events that brought about their realization can be found in human literature as far back as ancient Greece and ancient India, it is 20th-century sociologist Robert K. Merton who is credited with coining the expression "self-fulfilling prophecy" and formalizing its structure and consequences. The self-fulfilling prophecy
