Pornstars seem to violently defy socially accepted sexual ethics and behaviour. They are willing to go to any or all extremes on camera for money. I am curious about any psychological analysis of pornstars; i.e. what makes them so willing to act as they act on camera? and how are newbie stars so open even in their debut films?

I doubt there has been a study done like what you're describing. The everyday person does not want to know or even touch on that world. Because most people can't wrap their minds around this subject (obviously by all the answers given so far), and they don't want to. You don't want to see what that person has seen. You just don't want to know. So continue on with judging those girls, but know this.....the majority of people in this world don't have enough balls to do what a "**** star" has done.

money to be a voyurist and exhibitionist? Voyurism and exhibitionism are considered abnormal sexual behaviours along with fetishes, bdsm, watching....ect. its all abnormal sexual behaviour. If this is a part of your everyday personality, why not get paid for it? Some are just sex addicts who have to have sex all the time. Its almost as if they are grotesquely feeding their own... abnormality. Some dont like it but it is in fact money. Its hard to say unless we can interview a real pornstar on yahoo answers.

What makes you think of that each and every physique **** stars come from white wood fence suburban properties? I heard from an interview that some pornstars enjoy arousing men. Also, a lot of them aren't sober the whole time.

I doubt if any research has been done. Most of them started out wanting to become actors/actresses. They couldn't make it, got into drugs and are into **** for the money. No one decides "I want to be in porno movies when I grow up". It's a downward slide. Same with prostitution.

on a personal study, i find that the private life of such stars is rather pitiable, they are lonely and depressed, e.g. Marylene Monroe of Hollywood and Silksmitha of Kollywood. R.I.P.

i dont have proof or research, but i believe that they want so badly to be accepted that they will go to great lengths to gain that acceptance. the "good" ppl in hollywood often dont get nearly as much fame as the ones that exploit themselves and do whatever the ppl want them to do.

I think it must be the money...and possibly a little fame, although misguided. Money is the key to end all your woes...
