I had a four poster bed up until a few years ago got fed up with it nothing special.

Yes I have. I bought my first beautiful bedroom set with large posters on the bed in 1949. I was single and living at home with my parents and paid for it on time with my very own money. I was so proud of myself for doing that~~~~~jill

Growing up, my best friend has a large four poster with a canopy on top. I thought it was beautiful. We'd sleep in it when I stayed overnight.

No, but all three of my kids have four poster beds, with a canopy on top. They are really cute.

Yes, I've slept in Samuel Pepys old bed in Harwich. Well that was the hotelliers story, not sure I believe him. It was big, strong, warm and comfy.

Slept in a few in very nice hotels, usually after sipping at champagne and nibbling at strawberries, oh, the hardship of it all......
