No. I think you can go into the Edit you profile area and check that box.
Update: All of my stuff is now private since I am being stalked by a troll today.

I said I would never do that, but wasn't given a choice. Had lots of problems with someone reporting questions that weren't bad, a stalker once and have had four contacts deleted.
If you choose to go private, only use the first option. If you use the second option, it breaks all contacts and fans and you'll have to start over.

Yes I have everything from my questions and answers to my contacts and fans network set to private due to all of the report happy people who go around getting people's accounts suspended. All you have to do is click on your avatar and go to edit my personal info and check the options which say make you q&a as well as your contacts network private. Then just click on the save changes option and you are set.

On your profile page go into edit and click in the box that says to make your Q/A private.

Yes, I've put them to private, a couple of weeks ago, after many of my contacts ended up deleted, after being reported over and over by trolls. How sad is this!!

Yes I have gone private for a few reasons I have a stalker who follows me around he is so nice yea I know who he is too!

No, they aren't because it drives me crazy when other people's are. I'm here to be social, and that means dealing with everyone....not just the one's that suit my tastes from the start. Most of my best, closest friends in my life...we hated each other when we first met. I ain't gonna shut anyone out.

yes, because of trolls and clones. just go to settings in your profile and check off the correct box
