im getting a new 10 gallon fish tank i no how to cycle and everything but what fish shouldd i put in it i want something energetic and fun to watch i dont really want any mollies or guppie or anything like that but something really fun to watch

How about 5 female bettas and 2-3 corycats (bottomfeeder)

Small energetic fish you can add is 6 neon tetras(these are schooling fish), maybe 4 otos and 2-4 cory catfish of your choice.

I would recommend some dwarf cichlids. If you have soft water any of the apistogramma species or rams should work well, with harder water i think the shell dwelling lamprologous species are interesting.

you should get 4 neon tetras and 4 zebra danios with 2 corys
