I believe that the best way support our troops is to bring them back safely to their families.
But, if they have to be in Iraq, I want them to have everything they need, from safe drinking water to body armour.
That said, I don't think they should be there in the first place.

simple. i believe the troops believe in their heart they are doing the right thing and are there for the right reasons. but i also believe the HIGHER UPS in command are not so righteous.
why don't you google the fact the ron paul received 52.3% of TOTAL presidential campaign contributions from active and retired military personnel.
i guess even the military can support troops but not support the war. by the way, ron paul wants the troops out NOW.

No one truly supports a war , war is hell . Just love the men and women living hellish lifes in dumpy countrys . Fighting a war that no one truly understands. I served with the marines in fallujah 2004 . 9 months of hell . Im home and alive , and I did my part for this country , I have no sour feelings for our president . If I can say that , then any civilian in the US that just watches tv and eats Burger King , while bashing Bush . Can just shut there mouths , because they have no freaking clue of what there talking about .Support all troops , they join for freedom , they dont choose to go to war , there directed .

Because the troops did not create the war. They are simply following orders.

By supporting the troops, you donate money to aid the returning injured and try to get them back home ALIVE. By being against the war you rally to end the unjust invasion of an innocent nation and return our toops home.
It isn't a contrdiction of terms like many wish to believe.

there once was a time in history where a general almost gave up because of all the unrest in the war that was
waged but because he didnt give up and stood his ground
and was backed by those few who really believe in his cause
struggled to win it after unbelievable loses of life
wonder what would have happen if he gave in to those morons who think if you dont fight for your beliefs and sit around and whine about it will go away..??
thank you George Washington for your efforts and loyalties

You can hope and pray that the military comes home safe but disaprove of our leaders sending them their in the first place.
Its kind of like watching a regular season football game after your team has clenched a playoff spot. You wanna win but you really just dont want anyone on your side to sprain an ankle.

I support their health and mental well-being.
It would seem that, in order to do that, it would make more sense to NOT support the war. War is detrimental to the health and well-being of soldiers.

Very simple.
I respect the soliders who are carrying out their orders.
I question whether those orders are a good idea.

You must support both, to not support the war, is the same as to not support freedom, freedom is fought for.
