(and yes I know the police arent commenting on what they may or may not have found, but considering someone in the media would have noticed the police carting out a body from the garden, its fairly safe to say they found f### all there ........)

Hi Dave, well who's surprised. If they haven't found a shred of evidence in nealy 3 months they won't now. Perhaps they should now look elsewhere and concentrate on the fact that sniffer dogs found evidence of a death in the McCanns' apartment. Whilst this does not particularly incriminate them, it should take the heat of Murat. It doesn't clear him but it does seem to open up the case for other suspects to be looked at.

Um...are you saying that just 'cos the police didn't cart out a body & found nothing there, Murat is innocent beyond doubt?
He well may be but this doesn't point to it.
Couldn't he have passed on Madeleine to an accomplice in a vehicle? How would traces of her be found in his house then?

Seems like some of us could have been right all along. This whole McCann saga was dodgy right from day one and now it looks as if something sinister happened at the McCann holiday apartment and Gerry ,Kate and friends are deep in the ****. If the Portuguese newspaper reports are correct then we should see some developments very soon and the McScams will be made to confess to the whole world..... the very places he has spent the past 3 months money raising and gaining sympathy.
Was Gerry really so naive as to think he could fool modern forensics?

On the daily Mirror forums they are discussing the fact that the 2 british dogs sent to Portugal have detected the odour of a cadavar in the apartment,its in the portugese papers.

This would mean that Maddie was dead in the apartment for more than 2 hours,so the scenario now is...did she die accidently and they are covering it up with an abduction?

The same 2 dogs then followed her scent to a supermarket then lost it,someone could have dumped her body in the bins...Gerry was seen on the night she went missing apparently by an ozzie at some bins.

This is all speculation of course,but the plot thickens.

I know Ive slated you for weeks now Dave...could you have been right all along?

Why do some people seem desperate for him to be guilty?
Just because you want Murat to be responsible for this crime, doesn't mean that he should be railroaded in to a charge, does it?
Is that justice?
I just want the truth about May 3rd to come out, is that so wrong?

There are more fingers pointing towards the McCanns than ever. Isn't it amazing that the dogs have found more to go on in the McCann apartment than that of the main suspects home.
Isn't it time the police and the media started looking closer to home, closer to Madeleines home???

I don't think that a dozen police officers and police dogs were searching for 2 days for a body. They are looking for something but as you have elegantly put it "aren't commenting".
Murat is a suspect and I don't know whether he's got something to do with the case or not, but we can reasonably say they have some evidence but not enough to charge him or clear him completely.

As always innocent until proven guilty and that goes for the McCann as well.

I can see that some are speculating that the McCanns have killed her. I am glad you have not jumped on the bandwagon.

going back there again. They haven´t said what new evidence
they have got.
I think they just like to let everyone know that they are still
doing all they can. If Murat is innocent, I feel so sorry for

The police cannot be very confident about the child seen in Belgium, to be digging up gardens in Portugal. I have a feeling that when the police release what they suspect has happened to Madeleine that we will be all really shocked. I have criticised Gerry and Kate but I really do not think that they have killed her. But something bad has happened and its about time we heard something positive.
