Why is this guy in my tour group carrying a purse?

I got a problem. I am vacationing in Mexico and the guy in our group is wearing a Man Purse Its really quite embarrasing and funny and he takes it everywhere.What should I do?

Do? Do nothing. It's his "Man Purse." Why would you need or want to "do" anything?

You're embarrassed with somebody who has no shame or qualms with being himself? I'm assuming that before you went on this tour, you did not even know he existed. So what if he carries a "purse". I'm a woman and I don't carry one, just my old college ID holder which is quite sufficient for cash, my license, health insurance card and my credit and debit cards.

However, while traveling, I have found that a messenger-style bag (actually, it's more of a nylon briefcase with a shoulder strap) is quite useful for carrying things like water bottles, snacks, a book, my journal, etc.

Maybe you do something that he finds "quite embarrassing and funny" and considers it to be a "problem".

If that's the worst "problem" you have on your vacation to Mexico (a place not everybody will be blessed to travel) then consider yourself blessed.

A man purse is what a nike style not femine at all, I dont understand your point, first is not your bussiness and if it is a man purse what the hell? YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, are you afraid of your own sexuality? and a purse is extremely comfortable men should use them cos it is really anoying to be the girlfriend carrying all the stuffs you guys cannot keep in your owns pockets example: Cell phone, car keys, cover for the stereo, sun glasses and all that we have to carry in our purses.

Nothing you can do about it. He's not hurting anyone by it and there are worse things he could be doing. If it don't bother him why should it bother you? It's his purse. Does it make you question your own masculinity? If not, just be glad it's not you and enjoy your vacation. There are plenty worse things you'll see in this world. To each his own. I find it kinda funny and embarrassing that this is what you choose to focus on on your vacation in Mexico. There's so much more to see and do. Sorry!

For a convenient access to his "lip balm"
To accentuate his shoes
To keep him from "floating off"

There are any number of reasons that this might be !!

And, what should you do ??
I, mean, what's up with THAT ? YOU feel somehow compelled to DO something ? I find THIS a little odd -- I mean, he's not requiring YOU to wear one too, is he ?

If all else fails, and you feel you just HAVE to do something about this --- you might consider finding out where his parents live and send a note to his mother ------ Fred !!!

Why is it embarrasing for you? He is carrying it. Some men do not like the feel of a wallet...and now adays there are many things that men must carry to, such as cell phone, pager, checkbook, money, cards, ect. So it acually become a trend. I have noticed it more. I wont be embarrasing when everyone does it.

You really cannot do anything. Maybe you can strike up a conversation and something up. Say "Sir, I overheard that robbers are targeting tourists with carry bags because they sneak up behind them and cut the strap." Or, you can make fun of him to the point of embarrassment.
