Given the singular form of your statements, I would say it is unlikely.

Had you said "snakes are snakes, can snakes become doves?" I would have said, "it seems to be the case, if you accept an evolutionary understanding of the world" (because reptiles and amphibians predate birds on the evolutionary time scale).

In the animal kingdom, a snake will always be a snake.
A person can beat all odds of his curcumstances and become someone good. God destines our futures and He works in mysterious ways.
May God bless you.

I am assuming this is symbolic. The snake is a person who has hit rock bottom and slowly rises up to the top after beating the odds. Metaphorically that would be true - physically, well, you know the answer to that one. :)

in my opinion...
A snake is a snake: a dove is a dove.
A book is always judged by it cover first, that's why cover art is a multimillion $$ biz, however... when we open a book we make new more personal applications...
a snake can certainly be loving and loved and I've known many a bird to bite!

A snake can't become a dove but a person can change drastically, though there's no such thing as destiny.

what you are born into, is not what you are destined to be
how you begin your journey in this life is often influenced by the circumstances/treatment you are born into
you can become what you wish to be, you create yourself here on this earth,
so yes, even if you feel you have done bad things, you can become good, keep in mind that good and bad are manmade concepts, and vary culture to culture, time to time
so just decide what you feel is the right way to be, and go towards that goal
