If he is in an airtight spacesuit and away from direct sunlight, the anaerobic bacteria on and in his body could cause some degree of decay, but with loss of pressure and declining temperature this would stop and freeze-drying would occur.

No. For body decomposition, you need oxygen and water. You have neither of them in space !
As a matter of fact, your body will be "freeze dried" (like instant coffee), because of the low temperature and vacuum. Also you will revolve around the earth for eternity. Sounds cool. Isn't it ?
Do you want to volunteer ?

Do you mean a vaccuum? No. A person will only decay if there is bacteria to eat him. What we should do to find out if there is bacteria in our solar system is get lots of corpses and tie a really long string to the corpses and throw them into space. Then after 20 years pull them back.

Radiation - X Rays - Gamma Rays
will cook anything to a crisp in a very short time.
Decay of ashes is not as one might expect. They just dissintegrate into dust.

No. Outer space is a life-less vacuum, with no living things that decompose dead organisms.
Well, we don't know if there are any living things that can decompose dead organisms in outer space yet.
