its not his fault. Disagree if you shall but as a f1 fan, its really isn't his fault! He isn't treated the same at mclaren as lewis and at the end of the season i hope he leaves to one that they will respect him. And not ferrari because ferrari are 'cheats' and he can be 'apart of them' no. ferrari aren't cheats and mclaren like lewis more. And so do the FIA. why don't you think there points were taken away ??? and why don't you think alonso was punished ??

Fernando was seen by millions of TV viewers holding Lewis up. we didn't hear the radio so we don't know if he was being told to or not. Lewis disobeyed orders and was told off by Ron, who stood by Fernando. at the end of the day we all form an opinion based on what we see. i was gobsmacked by what i saw on the TV, but i didn't have any other info. i am now in two minds what to believe. Fernando could have moved up the pit lane to let Lewis in, but he showed how ruthless he is by not doing so. Lewis let off a tirade at Ron, so i think he is learning that perhaps he is not the favourite that everyone assumes he is.

they are treated the same the difference between the 2 is hamilton has talent, alonso only won his titles because the car was better than the others them years, that was obvious. They have the same cars the only difference is the drivers seat, even lewis is amazed at how well he is doing. the fia dropped alonso back to 6th on the grid for deliberately delaying hamilton in the pits, so he did not have enough time to do another qually lap, and stripped mclaren of any constructors points they may have gained. I'm not saying alonso is a cheat i'm saying got what was deserved, someone please tell him he is last years champ and this years chump. you say you are an f1 fan, i think you are more an alonso fan, are you spanish by any chance?

If anyone is being treated unfairly at Mclaren, it's Hamilton. He was ordered not to overtake Alonso at Monaco! How can you expect anyone to respect a driver who goes out and blantantly cheats, in front of millions of viewers? The stewards heard the radio communication between Alonso and the team, and they still decided that Alonso was guilty. He cheated, and deserved to be punished.
And I don't think you are speaking as an F1 fan, but rather as an Alonso fan. Because any true F1 fan would be delighted to see that cheating of this nature will not be tolerated!!!

I think that any driver worth being called a driver would have pulled the same stunt. Damon Hill, Schumacher, Senna,Prost have all pulled stunts or threatened in their efforts to win. I have no particular opinion on Louis Hamilton as a racer yet because I haven't seen him race, but it is obvious that because he is English and has won a couple of races, from the front, in a car which is streets ahead of anything else, that the English media who up until now have half-heartedly pinned their hopes on Jensen Button maybe getting a podium - How the mighty have fallen. I don't recall any of this attention being given to David Coulthard when he was winning races for McClaren, .. Oh hang on, he is Scottish, so much for unbiased commentary, It really is embarrassing listening to James Allen going on, I wonder if he has the Louis Hamilton calender hanging in his toilet, probably open at one of the summer months!.
Sorry about any inappropriate innuendo towards the end but the more I thought about it the more annoyed I became. However, I don't think I belied my opening statement, as it has more to do with the media attention than the man/boy/young chap!.

The simple fact is that he's the one people want to blame (for some reason).
Everyone took Ron Dennis's actions to mean he was angry with Alonso when really he was fed up with Hamilton swearing at him on the radio.
It is a case of not judging a book by its cover, because it SEEMED he Dennis was angry at Alonso; had perhaps some folks waited, it might have been more clear. Alas, the "it was all Alonso's fault" movement, so to speak, gained momentum both at the track and on the net in short order.

Alonso doesn't like it that a newcomer is showing him it should be done. Lewis is a new phenomenon and is literally streets ahead of the rest, from a different planet.

omg, people, you cant believe everything you see, and you don't know if you've known everything. you dont know the fact that whether or not alonso has cheated. so to assume that you know he did is an unfair judgement. so what if you or everybody else in this world saw that he was at the pit for abt 10 secs longer, but do you know what's really going on? NO.

It is time that Alonso stopped throwing his dummy out of the pram and got on with a professional manner with his racing. They both have exactly the same package with their cars, but Lewis has proved that he is the better driver overall up to now! so it is up to Alonso to stop moaning and prove it on the track that he can beat Lewis fairly. If one driver has to leave Maclaren it should be Alonso so that we can still have a British driver in a British team and who has more character and more affiliation with the fans

Alonso held lewis up on purpose we all saw it, lewis is the better driver, both mclarens are identical so the fact that lewis wins more means he a better driver.

They are all jealous of the new super star.Nothing phases him and he goes out their and always does the business.Alonso is screaming cos Lewis was not in the script he was suppose to retire or be 13th in every race.As to the incident at qualifying it was a stich up in favour of Alonso to keep him happy and it all went wrong.I am shocked that you allow some on here to name call our Lou.Just wait until he becomes Sir Lewis Hamilton.
