i am having a birthday party on friday, i am inviting a few people maybe 5 or 6. it is Chinese Themed. i have all the snacks (mostly sweets) not the main dish apparently and i have NO idea what games to play or how to make it fun, usually my mom helps me but this year she wants me to help brainstorm for ideas. i have cute invites and everything. i just need cool and fun games to play tht relate to the theme and a main dish everyone will enjoy.

For food, I suggest egg rolls in 2 or 3 different flavors.
For game I suggest a very exciting party game called "Nincompoop". Let's say there are 6 of you sitting around a table and playing. Take the top 6 suits from a deck of cards( 4 each of Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, 10's and 9's). Shuffle these 24 cards and give each player 4 cards. Also, arrange 5 small objects ( like 5 ping pong balls, walnuts or whatever) in the middle of table. The goal for everyone is to try to make his/her hand into 4 of the same suit. You ask everybody to look at their hands and take a card they don't want & put it on the table facedown in front of them. You say "Ready?" then you say "Go". On your cue, they'll pass it to the player to their right. So every time you say "ready" and then "go" each player will take an unwanted card, puts it facedown on the table and then passes it to the right. Ofcourse you as a player should do the same. This will continue for several times until one has all 4 colors of the same suit and the instant that happens for one, he/she should grab one of the 5 objects on the table. Immediately after this happens everybody else should try to grab one of the objects on the table. Obviously one will be left without an object.(there are 6 players but 5 objects) He/she will be the loser of this round and will get the first letter (n) of the word nincompoop. As you play more rounds, the person who loses the most will get to have all letters of the word "nincompoop" faster than others and as soon as you become a nincompoop you'll be out. The group can continue the game but this time with only 4 objects on the table and cards from Ace to 10 (20 cards) This can become a very exciting and high energy game. Give it a try. try to practice the game with your brother/sister/mom/dad before the party.

If you are doing a Chinese theme you could play Chinese Checkers, You could play pin the tail on the new year dragon, maybe you could make your own fortunes for fortune cookies. You could do something revolving around the Chinese year you were born (year of the monkey, dragon, etc)

sushi making ( i know its japanese but humor me), pre make the rice and get some avocado, sea weed and some diced carrot and make califonia rolls u can get that all from the grocery store
fortune's for fortune cookies... make up silly fortunes. put em in a bowl and redistrubite them... see who ends up with what?
horoscopes.. see who is compatible with who, there are loads of free websites to help u out with that.

chop stick decorating.... u can pick up some cheap wooden ones from the dollar store, some glossy paint from Michael's and go for it.
chinese auction... have people vote on who's sushi is best, and who's chop sticks are cutest... and any other games u have and assign tickets. people put the tickets in for other items that they can auction for.- also make sure to have some prizes for EVERYONE (like some chinese themed goodies at the start of the party just to play around with)... wouldnt want anyone to go home with nothing.

Instead of Pin the Tail, draw a rough outline of China on a poster board and have everyone place a tiny post-it dot where they think a Chinese city would be (you'd have to look up the cities) and see who comes closest to where it really is.
Buy fortune cookies and see whose is more accurate.
