If we're thinking in terms of the Bible and spiritually, it was the hen that came first, because God the Great Creator made it so. But, if we're thing of terms in evolution and science, it may actually be the egg, laid by a bird-like dinosaur or an ancient relative of the chicken. We may as well never know, but maybe, one day, we'll figure it out. Don't know why this is important, but maybe we'll figure it out...

The hen of course it was created by God. If it was created by evolution the egg comes first since the creature would have had to evolve and be born into a hen from an egg.

the egg since fish liad eggs along time ago way before the hen
and if your talking about chicken egg then still the egg since evolution says that a series of small chages an make a new speiceis therefore even if somthing else laid it as long as it hasd a chicken in it it was a chicken egg

its normally the chicken an the egg but hen is fine my theory is the egg because of dinosaurs were before hens or chickens so im sayin egg unless the whole dinosaur era was born from a chicken or hen

i think god created the hen first so that it can mate with other chickens or roosters w/e lol and make little baby eggs!

No proof for evolution. And you have to believe in God....
So, my answer will be the Hen, because God created it.
I can't stand "scientist" trying to force feed me a line about proof when they really don't have anything.

ahhhh i hate dis question, nobody really knows the rite answer cos the hen layed the egg but then the hen had to come from an egg. its an endless circle.
