The Hollywood Vampire isn't real, It's not to say there are no such things as vampires. To become a vampire in the movies, you must be bitten by a vampire and have him drain your blood almost gone, then you turn around and drink the vampires blood.

Now, real vampires, with all the myths and lore's out there, basically a real vampire is a person or creature who feeds themselves by sucking blood or energy from a host. Usually energy, though there are goths out there who do drink blood and live the Hollywood vampire lifestyle.

Taking a person's energy isn't a very nice thing to do, especially when they don't give you permission. In order to do it you would have to know how to draw energy, it's complicated and there are ramifications for your actions, and side affects.

pretty much all you have to do is know a vampire/ group of vampires ( called a covenant ) and be accepted into their culture and then do some ritual (i think) and act like them and then poof you're a vampire. oh yeah and do some blood stuff.

Im an energy vampire, I feed on the auras of people. But you can't "contract" it. No, you cant get bit, and not all vampires drink blood. You have sex vamps, Psi/energy vamps and well heck heres my list.

But you should know that a vampire is a vampire. The thing which distinguishes the different "types" is mainly the method of feeding. Some feed on blood; others feed on psi/energy. Some can feed on either/or, or both. I think this mainly is determined by one's own level of psychic ability. Most commonly, those who feed from psi/energy take it from people, whether it's from individuals or crowds of people. Some claim to be able to feed off of the energy generated by storms; others claim that they feed on sexual energy (energy generated during sexual interaction); others say they feed from emotional energy, etc. -- these are all different forms of energy feeding, and in all cases, the different "types" of vampires are all still boiling down to be energy feeders, or psi-vampires.

To call them different types is to split hairs: Is a person considered a different type of person if s/he eats meat, or is a vegetarian, or eats both or either? What if s/he eats only certain types of vegetables, but not other types (ex., corn, green beans, lettuce, but not eggplant or turnips, or radishes)?

We have here meat eaters, and vegetarians, and those who have no dietary restrictions, but are they different types of people? Or do they just have different types of diets?

go to a haunted house you hav to sleep there, and call a vampire!
