Why do people say, "Do your own homework?"?

Is this not a question/answer website?

It is a question and answer site, but when school kids come on and ask people to do the work they should be doing themselves, it should be said---'Do Your Own Homework' If you do it on your own you may actually learn something and not require the site for that anymore.

I don't understand either. Maybe people don't want you to cheat.. i guess that's what it means
