The "Necronomicon" you are likely referring to is likely the one by the author who goes by the name Simon. It's based on Enochian techniques, but muddled with Sumerian mythology. As with anything Enochian, some of the stuff can have lingering, highly unpleasant effects, but I think the book basically harmless. The stuff in the Necronomicon is far too muddled from various sources to be truly effective. I'd performed two or three telekenetic effects using some of the material within when I was 16, but put the book away and swore off magic for 10 years after when I attracted the attention of something I wasn't comfortable with. It's powerful enough to scare yourself with, but as a means to an end, pretty useless. Try Enochian, instead. Compared to the atom bomb of Enochiana, the effects of rituals of the Necronomicon are a like striking a match.

First off there is only one real necromancer... All the rest of those book that call themselves necromancer are fakes... And I seriously doubt that 99.99.9% of any normal human being know the magic words that could even open that book futhur more read it....... And I am 100% sure that you have never laid eyes on the real book either..... People have no idea of how cursed and dangerous that book is and who ever own the real copy of that book is un-able to copy one word out of that book for veiwers to see and if he or she was able to open that book and made one microbe of a mistake and that book would have you for lunch................. That is one book that I know that Satan took part in it writing.. And did you know that there are no surviver of anyone that had a hand in writting that book not one writter ever had even a 6th cousin that survive him or her..... I am talking about entire and total genocide of any related member that took part in the writting of that book..........
