I think that the executive branch currently has too much power. The system was set up so that the three branches would provide checks and balances and the current administration is doing everything that they possibly can to null that set up. This is why the current administration is considered to me one of the most corrupt administrations ever to be in office.

Too much in my opinion. The president now uses his power to become above the law.

Constitutionally, the executive branch has close to the proper amount of power to balance against the other branches.
In the US, at the present moment, the executive branch is committing rampant abuses of that power.

Given the left push to take away the power until they gain office it is right and they on the left know it. But they paned to the mind dead people of the left who think the civil war was between mothers against drunk drivers and Peta. Great public education and that is why they support Unions to keep it this way.
No mind left behind. Remebr you heard this here first from truth.

Thats somewhat like asking if your car has too much power
The answer depends upon who is driving, what he is allowed to do. If the car is responding properly. If the laws are obeyed
To answer part B of your question. We have a 14 year old driving a masarati in the rain. No. It was never meant to be.

I think that they have the right amount of power. People change their answers because of Bush but he does what he wants with his power but the congress has the right to over rule him so it's the right amount of power.

Much too much at this point in history.
I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.

The right amount of power. Congress voted to go to war with Iraq. It is not Bushes fault the weasels want to cut and run.
This is why we vote for a leader.
Bush wants to fight terrorism. The Dems want to fight Bush.

The problem is that Bush tries to use legal tricks to give himself more power than the Constitution intended.
