The trick is to add a little glycerin to the soapy water. If you use wire for the hoop, wrap it with fabric to hold the liquid.

Take a couple of wire clothes hangers (the more you have, the big the bubbles) and then use wire cutters to cut them so that they are straight line of wire. Then take each wire hanger and twist them together so you have a long line of wire. then bend the wire into a circle with a handle and then enjoy.

Try a hula-hoop mounted on a handle. Next problem is what to put the soap mixture in. I saw an expert on TV use a small plastic swimming pool. He noted that Sun dish soap was what he used for soap.
