Tiburon, California, mid-size, nice weather, lots of hillls very green and next to Tiburn Peninsula.

San Diego. Not necessarily the city, but if you move somewhere in the county like La Mesa or Spring Valley then there is a lot of nature around.

Its not in the US, but I'd suggest around Vancouver because it has warm weather, it is not that huge of a city with lots to do, and it has forests, mountains, and the sea nearby.

or, Vancouver (Vancouver has much more in the way of hills, green, lush, beautiful, moderate weather though situated up north) I know it isn't U.S., but Canadian, very close to U.S.

Seattle Washington or Portland Oregon- both are gorgeous! and living right on the coast is lovely!
