i do not deny my children as much as possible..
i do require chores and respect..
everyone, myself included thinks my kids are great

I do. I used to be worse when I was working full time. There was rarely a day she didn't get something. Our house and backyard are FULL of toys. She has so much summer clothes she could probably wear a different outfit everyday for a month.
But, I also expect respectful behaviour. She has wonderful manors. She has to be kind and share with others. She doesn't even ask for gifts when we are in toy stores. She is a very nice little girl. Not a spoilt brat.
It is a hard thing not to do when you have the means. It was also a hard habit to break when I decided to stay home with her. But she still gets a lot of stuff. Just not as much. :)

I don't have any children yet, but I was spoiled greatly! though I'm not a stuck up...lmao.
