Have you ever found a hair in your food a restaurant?

Did you tell them? What did they do about it?

My hubby and I went to a new Chinese restaurant a few weeks ago and we really just started our meal, I'd say about his 5th to 6th bite, he found a hair, we called over the waitress, she apologized and the manager came over and apologized, offered him another dish, but we both kind of lose our apetites with something like that......when we got our ticket, they had removed the charge for his dish, but added 1.00 for the portion he had already eaten. I am not kidding, I was like L'ingMAO but kind of like WTH too.

I can totally feel your pain! Years ago I went with my son's little league team to an ice cream shop after his game. I got clear to the bottom of my cone and low and behold their was a PUBIC HAIR mixed in with the soft serve ice cream in the bottom! I was so grossed out that I couldn't eat soft serve for awhile because if you think about it, that hair had been mixed in with the entire batch of ice cream for Lord knows how long - yuk!! Another time my ex husband, myself and another couple were at this really fancy Italian restaurant and I found a fingernail about 1/2 inch long in with my salad. (I pulled it out of my mouth after taking a bite of salad and feeling something weird that I couldn't chew up!) The manager of the restaurant offered all of us our meals free and also a complimentary bottle of really expensive wine. Since it was at the beginning of the meal, I just wanted to leave, but my ex was like "hey, they're giving us an entire four person meal and wine for free - we're staying" the other couple felt the same way! Needless to say, I didn't eat much, but I did polish off just about the whole bottle of wine myself - lol!! Take care!

Yes we were on vacation when we stopped for lunch at a Wendy's. I ordered a salad and started to eat it when I noticed a long black hair in it. My hair is far from black, so it totally disgusted me. I started to get up and complain when my husband said its only a hair.........how screwed up is that. I'm like .......No way am i not dealing with this sh*t. I went up there and told the manager. He offered me another salad. I demanded my money back. After all of that i had no flipping appetite. And then I gave my husband sh*t for being such an *sshole.

I went to a chinese restaurant before a saw the longest strand of hair. I called the waitress over & she called her boss in. I told her to look at this hair. She said maybe its yours. huh? It was black and long. My hair is dark brown. Ewww thats nasty. But she gave me a new meal like i wanted.

That's horrible! I found a pube in my Subway wrap. I have never eaten at Subway since then. I found bugs in my Chinese food once. Didn't tell them either time. I walked out of the Chinese place and didn't pay. No, cops didn't chase me.

so what, the heat in cooking kills the germs anyway

people cook the food, they have hairs, sometimes they get into the food, if you saw it on a micro level it would really scare you

I once found a piece of metal in some food, from the can opening I think, my wife got rock in her fake hamburger yesterday.

there are even rat and mouse turds in most food

and nobody knows what is even in some of out food

Yes once. It was awful! It was the last time I dinned at that stupid restaurant! That is why I never dine at a restaurant owned by filthy muggles...I felt like screaming AVADA KEDAVRA!! at all the waitresses.

Yes and it always seems to be at Olive Garden. I mean don't get me wrong i love Olive Garden but i sure do seem to find hair in my food there often.

I found a piece of artificial fingernail once (painted blue) in a salad -and at the same meal, we found a piece of plastic in the iced tea (and the owner accused us of putting it there!)

Never ate there again.

I think I found some in my eggs one time, but I didn't do anything about it and ate the eggs anyway. I mean, it's bound to happen every now and then. And I wanted my eggs!
