Cross sectional area is NOT Pi x Diameter squared ..you need radius squared.

Radius = 0.75cm. Height of bed = 16.76cm
Volume = π r² h
Volume of bed = 3.142 x 0.75 x 0.75 x 16.76
= 29.6 cc.

volume = the height *Area = 16.76 * 3.14*.75^2 = 29.6 cm^3
cuz d= 1.5 radius = .75
