As of 04-August-2007, the active leaders in games played without ever appearing in the postseason, are Jeff Cirillo (1590 games) and Damion Easley (1586 games). Todd Helton is third with 1528 games.

Easley has a decent chance to end the frustration with the Mets this year. And Cirillo is with the Diamondbacks, who are contending. Helton's chances are toast.

Among pitchers... it appears to be Doug Brocail, with 507 appearances. He was with the 2006 Padres (last pitched on 15-Sept; was he injured?) but did not appear in the postseason. The pitcher with the most games who has never played on a postseason team is BJ Ryan, with 475 appearances.
