If you are a teenager (or younger) do you smoke cigarettes? If so, why did you start? How do you hide them from your parents (or do they know)? Where do you normally smoke them? How are you able to get them?
If you don't smoke, do you have any friends who do? How do you feel about smoking?

Yeah, I smoke, but I'm 18 so it's legal now. I started when I was 16, and I still hide them from my parents 'cause they would be pissed if they knew
Yeah, value my advice, and everyone that doesn't smoke gets a thumbs up and I get thumbs down. How stupid

Heck no! Smoking is stupid. I think I have 1 or 2 friends that smoke, but I don't do anything about it or they would kill me. I think smoking is rediculous. It's looks stupid and can kill you. Why would you go near something that's gonna kill you or leave you a hard long term effect? I haven't had any pressure and I've never been in the popular group so I guess it's not fair for me to say. I have been offered them though. To me though for people who do, it makes me sad that they feel that they have to smoke and those who depend on it who maybe it makes them feel better. I just want to reach out to them and say "STOP!" and give them a big hug.

I don't and I don't have friends who do. It's not like I would shun someone who smokes just because they smoke but I find it a really bad and dangerous habit. Second hand smoke is actually worse than smoking the cigarette itself. I don't think you should smoke and I find it even worse when I see a teen smoking. It's like watching them kill themselves slowly. Parents should make themselves more aware of this problem.

yea... i started smoking when i was 16. I would smoke over at a friends, then I started just taking them from ashtrays. My mom knew and thought it was disgusting so she started buying them for me... she also knew i wasn't about to quit. I'm now 19. I still smoke. Bad bad habit... gross, and it gives you a buzz at first but after a month at most you'll feel nothing! I definately wouldn't recommend it.

I'm 13 and I don't smoke. I know 3 people who do. I'm not friends with them though... I think smoking is totally gross!

i dont smoke but i like the way cigarettes smell, and i have a few friends that smoke, i think they just want to 'fit in' and try and to be cool when really they dont like it

most of my friends smoke cigarettes. i smoke one occasionally while drinking, but i dont carry them around, i just bum one off someone. i do, however, like to smoke cigars. i do it as an indulgence, not a habit. i get them from the store. i smoke them in my room or in the yard or wherever.

I have no problem with people who smoke, but it's just something i don't do. I would never nag someone about smoking, shoving lung cancer articles in their face. They know the risk and keep smoking that's their choice.

I have a cousin. I feel bad for him because he is giving himself cancer. Of course i DON'T smoke because i know it's wrong and it can kill you...example...
I went on a cruise last year and i passed through the smoking area. I held my breath in and started coughing really loud and said "People Who Smoke Suck!!!!" and then i ran and closed the door behind me. People looked at me like "what?" lol! it was funny though!
