Even though it's tradition for a man to propose I tend to think why not? They take so blooming long let us take the toll on him.

Now-a-days its perfectly acceptable for the woman to ask the man. However, you need to feel him out. Do you think he wants to marry you? Are you only asking him because he hasnt asked you? Perhaps he isnt ready. Are you willing to risk the relationship if he isnt ready?

It would depend on the woman, the man and their relationship. For some people, it would be completely fine, for others, not so much.

Why wouldn't it be? Throughout the years of marriage, you'll be bringing up a number of things that hubby was probably thinking about anyway...that's TEAMwork!
Best wishes.

if it`s not an ultimatum it should be flattering to a man to know his girlfriend thinks that much of him. if he is secure in his own manhood it won`t be a problem if he reacts negatively he may not be the best choice
