besides Amy.. because that's mine. i'm 27 weeks and looking around for names that go with Marie since that's my middle name, my mom's and my grandma's. So far I like Julia and Vallory but want more options.

I've known a girl all my life with the name Casey Marie, and I think it's very cute. I really like Julia and Vallory Marie, but I would change the spelling on that a bit. Valarie seems to look just a tad more feminine. I also like Rebecca Marie, Cadance Marie, and Chloe Marie.

I've always been partail to Anna Marie. My niece's name is Julia, it's a beautiful one. Never been a big fan of the name Vallory though.

My suggetion is to avoid names that cause an alliteration such as Michelle, Mary, etc.

Names that have the vowel sound at the end will go well with the name Marie.

Ah the study of the sound of the english language!

Anna? That's also starting with "A" like Amy. Or you could call her Amanda and call her that, rather than shortening it to Amy.

However, from my experience of having 3 kids...let me tell you, no one cares about how the middle name sounds with the others. Most people don't give reference to it much. The main thing to watch for is initials.

For example , you don't want a kid with the name amy sherilyn sanders. See what I mean? I've seen this a lot with kids and parents don't notice it until it's too late.

Pick whatever first name you like. Don't worry about how it sounds with the second....but watch those initials.
