mine was my mother. she was a wonderful, wonderful woman!
One time I remember I told her how some girls were being mean to me at school; and she said, "People who are mean to others are not happy with themselves on the inside!!" I never forgot that.

I would say my step-dad. There are many reasons why, but the best is that he did stuff he really didn't have to do. He did for the better good.

2 people instantly come to mind... my mama (who died 13 years ago from AIDS) repeatedly told me to always be myself -- a great piece of advice. She also said the reason mosquitos and bugs bite me so much was because I'm so sweet! I like that one! (currently covered in bites!)

A friend/co-worker from years ago really influenced me enormously in my professional skills and supported me through some really really tough times. She's dying of cancer now and we're over 3,000 miles apart. Breaks my heart.

Thanks for the opportunity to honor them, albeit a short tribute. Excuse me...I need a tissue.

Definitely have to be my husband..well my mom too, but i have my own lil family now..We're both in the military and i use to complain a lot about our job and one day he told me, "Toya, my motivation is you, you're the reason I"m still sane" It inspired me because I never thought to find my motivation and I've found it. ;)

I can only be honest with you, which you would expect.

It would be Jesus Christ and the words would be in the NEW TESTAMENT OF THE LIVING WORD OF GOD.

I'm not trying to push my faith on you, but I had to be completely honest with you, as I am with ALL the other questions I answer for the others.

My dad. Its not what he said its what he did. He supported us selflessly and always showed love and concern without have anything negative to say. I still admire him more than anybody else

My mom. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger, and god doesn't give you more than you can handle.
