it dies a slow death because you no longer feel you are worthy of the other person's love. over time you begin to test and question your partner's feelings which leads to resentment and loss of trust. without trust, everything else falls apart.

Good question. How many of us have been in an abusive relationship where it started as "love" but they put you down so much, you lose your self-esteem thinking they are right, then there's nothing left for you to give; the love was lost. They say when you have no love for yourself, you are usually incapable of loving another. I believe that.

True Love never dies. A loss or a lack of self-esteem can make it difficult to express though.

I don't think there's ever a magic forumla/moment that is the same for everyone when they realize there is no love in a relationship.

True love isn't supposed to die anyway. No matter what the other person does.

Sounds quite true, there must be some ego involved in loving someone else, otherwise there is no point in falling in love.

I really think it is. Because once you stop respecting yourself, you let them get away with treating you badly. And that's a cycle thats hard on a relatiopnship
