I sound like a bad mom saying this, but I don't think my son will care what I do for his first birthday on Dec 9. I think the first birthday is more of a celebration for the parents saying "yay we survived the first year!" All I'm going to do is have family over for dinner and cake. When he turns 2 then I'll have a fun party for him, if it's nice enough outside tobogganing and making snow forts and snowmen. If it's too cold outside, we'll go to a neat indoor attraction like The Manitoba Children's Museum or the planetarium.

If your plan to have a baby in a particular month, choose the month and count back 3 months. I was able to plan out my pregnancy hope you can too! Good luck and remember practice makes perfect.
