Yikes. What were the standards in THOSE days?
Bush is dumb because most of us have heard him speak.
EDIT:"Not an effective communicator"???
That should be a prerequisite for even considering the presidency.
I'm not a lib. I'm just smart.

There are no "experts" at guessing the IQ's of persons who have not taken normed tests. Persons with IQ's of 91 do not earn Harvard MBA's. George Bush's SAT score was 1206, which put him in the 83rd percentile (only 16% scored higher). That's not Mensa caliber, but it's not shabby either. The SAT is not an IQ test, but SAT scores have a high (.80) correlation to IQ. Some of the presidents whose scores were guessed include men whose IQ's were formally tested. President Kennedy had an IQ of 119; the sua dissant experts guessed 174. According to the article, this guess was based on 1) his scholarly achievements (he graduated 65th out of 110 in his high school class); 2) writings that he wrote alone (Profiles in Courage was probably ghosted by Theodore Sorensen), etc. Does Bill Clinton really have an IQ of 182? If there were evidence that Bill Clinton had an IQ in this range, you would have heard all about it. For comparison, Albert Einstein's adult IQ was just over 160, and Linus Pauling's was 147. The qualifying score for Mensa is about 132. The average high school grad has an IQ of 105; the average college grad, 115. President Nixon had an IQ of 143; the experts guessed 155. I would hope that graduate students of philosophy have a different standard of "proof" than the Bakersville News Service has. I would hope also that they can recognize a hatchet job.

I know those stupid liberals. Everyone knows that standerdized testing always says exactly how smart you are. The test scores never lie they are how smart you are period. Good thing there wasn't a political section on the test, then Bush would have been f*ckd.
I know what your talkn about, look at my most recent question, I asked the same thing

There is a difference between knowledge and common sense. There is also the issue of how one uses their intelligence. Not that I believe Bush is stupid, just doesn't seem to play well with the public.

To quote Forrest Gump, stupid is as stupid does.
Have you ever sat through a Bush speech, listening to his desperate attempts to string basic sentences together?
If he's not dumb, he certainly does his best to hide the fact.

You really believe, that, if Bush ever got tested, he wrote the tests himself. Not for his Daddys money.

Because liberals equate liberalism with enlightenment. If you don't have liberals views, then you are not enlightened. Pardon my bluntness, but that way of thinking is a complete crock of sh*t.

Prove it.
Hey, you're the one making the statement - prove your point.
All it takes is a simple link to a credible source - if you know what credible means, that is. And it ain't Limbaugh, to give you a hint.

Libs are very narrow minded and believe if they repeat something often enough it is actually a fact. I pray that Americans can see through their tactics!!
