You download the software from HP website or use the disk provided with the printer. In general HP software sucks bad and I avoid the HP products just for that reason.

it is the CD installer (a reproduction of, besides). Which it says on the link you gave. yet many times with printers you could run the installer in the previous connecting the printer. Do what it says uninstall the applying, disconnect the printer then run that software (the only you linked to) earnings. and spot if it works.

Goto www.hp.com then select Support and locate printers
find the printer that you have and download Drivers
follow their instructions.
