id like to b a model but i dunno where to start?

Question

i live in a very small town that is basicly next to no-where so i cant get any advice on modeling

when i was 11 and 13 i had an proffesional album done in china
nd id like that sorta thing donewithout having to pay hundreds, i havnt got any pro pics on the laptop but i hav sum pics myself well alot... im pretty vain

any advice?

idk.. cause my computer won't let me see ur pic. I know that the easiest way to be a model would be on America's Next Top Model.. that's where im going.. but you have to be 18, im only 14. I also know that you have to make a video and send pics of your self to them, which requires $. and another thing i would say, is that you have to be at least 5'7, you have to have nice skin, (no scars, cuts, scabs ect.) and you have to have lots of potential. If you go to this website it'll give you more advice..

well your going to need new pictures because im assuming your older then 11 and 13 now. also to be a model you do have to be tall. start learning everything you can about the business. like all the different designers and all the different terms that are used. watch shows like americas next top model because they are pretty much teaching all those girls how to be models. get a solid runway walk. learn how to be a good people person and public speaker. learn what looks best on you clothing wise with your shape. you also need to know how to apply makeup. be confident and fins something about you that is special and own it. also since you do live in a small city move to a bigger one. new york or LA thats where the models are. i know that tyra banks when she first started got her big break in europe so if it dosent work out in those two citys try paris or london. do things that will make you stick out and let people remember you.

To be able to model you need to travel, I travel to London alot,
Use a site like www.starnow.com & find yourself work there.
Get some experience & then consider joing an agency.
Get in contact with diesel models at www.dieselmodels.co.uk & they can set you up doing a proffessional portfolio.

Edit: Yami, I'm only 5.5 & that doesn't stop me, you have to be about 5.9 to do catwalk.

ur of asian decent right?.....start there!...in asia i mean,korea philippines,china etc. the cost of living in those areas are really cheap (no offense to my countrymen in the philippines) and just finding a place to stay in the philippines will probably be about $20 a month = 1,000 pesos....so if all else fails (HOPE IT DOESEN'T AND GOOD LUCK!) you probably only spent about 1,000 dollars at the least!...Some good places to start would to audition for GMA studios of the philippines or Zest International In Korea
