Let's start by saying that your processor speed can't be changed unless you over-clock it which is not a good thing unless you know what you are doing and have efficient cooling on your processor and case or to share you ram, which it is not necessary if you have 1.5 gigs of ram or more is click "start", "control panel", "performance & maintenance", "system" "advanced", you will see "performance" in blue, click the "settings" button, then advanced, you will see "Virtual memory" then click "change" click "custom size" input the amout that you want then click "Set" you may need to reboot, good luck!!

you can increase the speed of ur pc by doing a few upgrades.processor,ram can be upgrade it.now with a lil info from ur part or pc ,u should get a different answer.

Look through your computer and see what programs are running all the time that don't need to be. For instance your mouse has a shadow. You can turn that shadow off. There are a variety of other things you can do. You can change your screen to a bland blue screen instead of something colerfull.

ccleaner like one of the guys said and just go around and look for stuff that you never used that is very unessesary to have it.. and maybe upgrade you ram for a better and bigger ram

sometimes ,the computer get slow because of lots of junk,download one program the name crap cleaner,go to www.ccleaner.com,that program clean and fix some problens!!Bye
